Strong-Drive® SDWH Timber-Hex screws are designed for structural and general-purpose fastening applications where a hex head drive is preferred. These screws are ideal for the contractor and do-it-yourselfer alike. The SDWH Timber-Hex is code listed in IAPMO UES ER-192 and meets 2018 and 2021 IRC® and IBC® code requirements for most common wood framing applications.Key Features

- SawTooth® point ensures fast starts, reduces installation torque and eliminates the need for pre-drilling in most applications
- Under-head nibs that offer greater control when seating the head
- Large washer head provides maximum bearing area (065 in head Dia)

- Double-barrier coating provides a level of corrosion resistance that is equivalent to hot-dip galvanization (ASTM A153, Class D) in most non-marine environments
